"Room was perfect for an extended stay. Good layout, spacious and a convenient location for our needs. Linens were excellent. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The only issue we had was figuring out the tv. The remote is not intuitive, the unit does not come on to programming or a guide as would be expected. The source needs to be reset each time it's turned on. But we figured it out eventually."

"Be aware that the hotel is currently undergoing some renovation. Comfortable, clean accommodations. Our room had a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Included breakfast was ok. Staff was helpful."

"This was a nice place to stay for our one night. We needed to be close to Camp Pendelton and this was as close as you can get. Rooms need a little updating, bed was comfortable. Breakfast, your usual quick egg and meat breakfast, but you get fresh made waffles."

I picked the Best Western Marina Shores Hotel because it is located along a beautiful stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway. "The front parking lot is not designed well and could be redesigned to provide more parking spaces. Besides being a little small, the parking lot gets used by next door fast food restaurants. That said, the hotel is good one and definitely one of my “go to” hotels in the area! "
