“Located on a busy street with no area to park for check-in, better pre-check-in instructions needed for arriving travellers, night parking inadequate. But all staff were friendly and helpful. Close to the very good maritime museum.”

“Staff were polite, breakfast good, bar price reasonable and spotlessly clean. Hotel seemed quiet but parking was overflowing with cars parked in random places, I assume people parking here and flying from airport. We were lucky to get a space. There were other cars parked on road outside with several parking tickets. Hotel was good but parking would put me off using it again.”

“The food was very good and the staff excellent. Unfortunately our room was noisy because it was above the bar and banging hotel entrance doors. Thumping music does not sit welll with a hotel's function. Of providing restful accommodation.”

“No hot water from tap instantly. Have to turn on the tap and wait for the cool water run out, it takes 10 minutes and wastes a lot of water. No free WiFi in the hotel, it costs £10 per day.”

“This hotel is great. The management and staff are extremely accommodating and nothing is any problem for them. They are all very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice and clean, and very quiet. I’d highly recommend staying here 😊”

“Very friendly staff and owners. Comfortable bed and lovely breakfast. Bar is very well stocked with whisky(108 bottles) as well as other drinks. Definitely return if we are in the area.”
