"Loved the metro connected underneath the hotel. It was a bit creepy being in an abandoned mall though. The hotel was nice, clean, and quiet. A bit confusing to find but easy to access after that. On expedia it said it was a 10min drive to the national mall but really a 35 min drive and 40-45 min train ride. That I guess was my lack of due diligence and not actually researching the area."

But also, the room was CLEAN- like immaculately clean and that’s important for me. "My husband and I loved this Holiday Inn!! The staff were so great and its very close to L'Enfant Metro station. The ONLY reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 was because the bed was as hard as a rock. I've had pallets on the floor more comfortable. Everything else was great."
