However, the hotel staff helped us organised to transfer our luggages to our next hotel in Osaka (additional fees but so worth it for us and we were able to enjoy the Nikko area more freely). "My husband and i likes it very much.. its a self service check in/out. It has washing machine, kitchen that u can cook and bbq grill and it has private onsen too but we didn’t use it coz it’s cold outside. This room can fit 5-7 people. The thing that I don’t like was the cleaner keeps on trying to open our door when it’s not yet check-out time. But overall we liked it."

"This property has seen better days. My single room was like a prison cell, just 1.5 meters wide. There was no view. The food was of very low quality but beer and sake were all you can drink for 70 minutes. There are no room amenities. You have to pick them up in the lobby, even the yukata. The outdoor and regular baths are on different floors which is very strange. The clientele is mostly retirees and they seemed happy enough."
