"The Riviera Mansion Hotel in Manila is a very good hotel. The property around it is not. A short walk to the mall (Robinisons) made me and my wife feel unsafe. Lots of beggars, people sitting on the sidewalks etc, The only problem we had with the hotel was with the cafe. Some of the food simply did not taste good. The hotel was a very good stay. I will stay again when I have the opportunity But I wont walk to any other place again I'll take a taxi"

"Simply put, the staff is amazing! Friendly and accommodating. One big problem however is the cigarette smoke that infiltrates room 318. The loud music from the club was also a problem. If I ever stay at Rothman again I will never stay in room 318 or anywhere near. Location is centrally located. Again, great staff, budget hotel and great deal, no hassle with all the typical PI hotel surcharges "

The area is well lighted that I wasn't worried when returning back to my room in the evening. The security guards did a good job of always watching the in and out of the hotel guests. That's why for the last 8 years, I've always made my reservations without any second thought. "
