“This is an old building with many stairs and levels. The room was fine. Lighting was a bit dim in the toilet and the room initially had a lingering smell of cleaning chemicals though that dissipated. The evening meal was OK and the beer was in good condition showing someone knows how to keep real ale. The breakfast was excellent! Suggest that an addition of a USB port in the bedroom would be good.”

“Das Haus liegt etwas zurück gelegen von der Straße auf einem riesigen Grundstück mit genügend Parkplätzen und einem Garten mit Sitzmöglichkeiten. Großer Frühstücks- und Gäste-Aufenthaltsraum. Unser Zimmer war riesengroß mit einem topmodernen Badezimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Von dem Vater-Tochter-Gespann hatten wir mit dem Vater John einen ganz hervorragenden und freundlichen Kontakt. Er ist sehr unterhaltsam, hat viele Geschichten auf Lager, gibt Sightseeing Tipps, ist sehr bemüht um……

“The photos do not show this place as it is. The main issue is that the bed is in a loft space - up a very steep ladder - its claustrophobic and difficult to access if your knees and ankles are not 10 years old. Couple that with it having an unexpected wood fired hot tub - and being left only 3 small composite logs to light it for 3 nights - not enough to get it hot day 1 - and who wants to spend the evening up to your arms in soot trying to light it anyway - say its log fired in the ad / say……

“Well located in Pembrokeshire for visiting local attractions. The Shepherds Hut has all the facilities needed for a short stay and is best suited for couples. The neighbouring Huntsman pub does excellent beer and basic bar meals. The only thing missing is an electric kettle as boiling water can take a while.”
