“Good”

“I was worried to share this gem but they deserve the credit, this was the best hotel we stayed at in Costa Rica, had the villa without a pool, private, secluded, and clean. The breakfast was in a room near a balcony overlooking the mountains and valley. Somewhat like a dream! It's so close to the waterfall which makes visiting it so easy and it's a short drive to town for great dining.”

“The view on Arenal volcano and the lake is magnificent. There are so many trails to explore. The territory is green with blooming flowers and and hundreds birds species ”

“Very cute, modest B&B. Wonderful views from the common deck off the lobby and breakfast is tasty. Rooms are on the small side, but clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. ”

“I loved the views this property gave! The room was basic but clean. But the VIEWS were everything! I loved the fact that they had a hiking trail on property, it was a good distance trail that gave a decent workout. We didn't eat at the restaurant but the drinks were good. The pool is well kept but there wasn't a pool bar like it advertised. Definitely would need a car to get anywhere since it's located about 30 minutes from most activities. I would stay again just for the views and peaceful……

“Being in our room here almost felt like being in an upscale cabin or treehouse! It was very quiet and peaceful. There were thunderstorms at night and I loved listening to them while lying in bed. The bathroom was extremely nice with good soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. There is a lovely trail at the back of the property. ”

“Our stay at the ranch was wonderful. The room we had came with A/C which was very nice to come back to after long days in the sun. The staff (specifically Kevin, went above and beyond ensuring we had everything we needed.) They organized a lot of our activities we did while in La Fortuna. The bar and restaurant on property are a nice touch if we didn’t feel like going out that night or going anywhere for breakfast or lunch. I couldn’t recommend this place any more! Fantastic! ”

“Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was wonderful! The grounds were beautiful, we saw plenty of wildlife including toucans, lizards, and even a family of howler monkeys! The included breakfast was such a special treat every morning. At breakfast you have a view of the volcano, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable and clean, and we really enjoyed our private patio with hot tub. All of the staff made sure we had what we needed and checked in with us via what’s……

“SIMPLY OUTSTANDING!! Talk about a very pleasant surprise or something being grossly underrated. This is an outstanding hotel. The pictures on Expedia and the word “Lodge” in the name don’t do just to the quality of accommodation and the service level. The decor and the ambience - in the common areas and in the room set this hotel apart. Looks like the property has been completely renovated recently - everything felt very new. We had an issue during our stay but they took care of it very……
