“Views from the balcony of our 4th floor room where breath taking! When we were not enjoying the many pools, we spent a lot of time reading and enjoying drinks with views of Arenal volcano. At arrival we were greeted by Fabian who offered us a welcome beverage as well as a cool towel to refresh ourselves as he explained the hotel and property. Great customer service continued with Sebastian who helped us with our luggage and informed us of all the features in the room. The room has a slot near……

“各方面都好，尤其喜欢他的温泉！唯一不理想的是餐厅的饭做的不太好次，第一个晚上点了鱼和扇贝还可以，第二个晚上点了肋眼牛肉和扇贝，牛肉就是一块肉，但是肉还是很好吃的，只是没有一点菜，配的土豆泥里面全是奶酪，像牛皮糖一样拉不起来，扇贝味道还好但是牙碜，有沙子。第三晚逃去温泉那边吃自助，40刀一位，凑合。总之比我后来去的酒店饭差。但温泉绝对值得来！”

“For a unique experience with interesting and intimate setting! Try the large hot spring pool or from a couple smaller ones. A jacuzzi and swimming pool are also available for a dip. We enjoyed all kinds of wildlife spotting's from the hot springs and from short walks around the property to the nearby farm. Bella the pig and some beautiful horses can be spotted roaming the property as well as a new 15-day old donkey! While petting the Donkey one of the farmers showed us where they had spotted……

The grounds are well maintained, the breakfast service was great and the staff was friendly. Just across the street are some decent restaurants and a grocery store. It's a short 2-3 block walk to the town square. ”

“Sende was extraordinary. We loved our quiet cottage in the forest but also being able to access town in a short walk. The restaurant was delicious and the staff was pleasant. We were excited to experience Monteverde but hadn’t done much planning before arriving. The staff helped us coordinate tours and all their recommendations were great. ”

However, take into consideration that the property is a 3-hour drive from the airport and the hotel does not provide transportation (costs an additional $USD200 for private transportation from the airport). Daily breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very kind and accommodating. ”

“Very nice staff. Small grounds with great views of Volcano. Boutique size place, maybe only 10 rooms and nice but small pool deck and 4 hot springs. Great breakfast, very convenient in and out location with a car. Not a fancy big resort place but was absolutely fine and budget friendly, would recommend no problem. Other "grand" volcano hot spring resorts were actually sold out so I picked this one and was very happy, and was lower cost overall with a great breakfast and very friendly staff.……

“The accommodations were clean and modern. We wished that we had a closet in the rooms to hang our clothing, but overall it was very nice. Check in and communication with the host was difficult.
