“We were there for just one night, prior to a cruise. Getting a taxi the next morning was an issue, as there were 4 cruise ships in port. We were travelling with 4 others, so got 1 taxi for 2 and big luggage, and the rest of us walked to the terminal, a 45 minute walk. Weirdly, the hotel is in the middle of a traffic circle, easily crossed to a beautiful park, close to high street”

“Not price worthy as when there is a cruise coming, it raises its prices by 3 times ! The receptionists are not too friendly and helpful !”

“去年九月已經 Expedia 預定 曾經入住過的Francis Hotel classic room，在行程單上説明會送一支紅酒的，但酒店職員説沒有顯示，最後補送了。花洒組合設計不佳，因去水平台太淺，女士們洗頭加洗澡一定溢滿平台而弄濕整個洗手間；而供應的洗澡及洗髮液只有姆指大的容量不能照顧到兩位成人住客。尤幸職員友善，及位於酒店地下的 BB 餐廳值得推薦，晚上用餐情調極佳，當晚侍侯的 Salvador 服務一流，應該一讚。 酒店整體很好，只需留意一些細節加以改善，保持水準。”

“Outstanding staff, friendly and accommodating! Room was small, bathroom sink faucet was lose and drained extremely slow…shower allowed significant amount of water to soak floor outside if shower stall. Preppy look, but room main was lacking. ”

“The front desk staff, Jimmy, at the hotel is very friendly and professional. The rooms have been renovated and are beautiful, with a great view outside the window. The location is convenient, as it is very close to Westquay, the largest shopping mall in Southampton. And to top it off, the room rate is already very affordable, and they even include breakfast. It's truly perfect!”

“Everything was lovely, especially liked the extra touches in the bedroom for my daughter (mini robe and slippers, wash set, play book and crayons, plus a cookie). The only let down was this morning at breakfast they were 4 staff short we were told and it was very clear in the service, we waited over 20mins for our drinks, our whole breakfast went were in there about an hour and a half which made us slightly late for check out, it was a shame as it left an amazing stay with a bad ending.”

Room 477 overall very good thank you . there is obviously a lot of contractor work etc going on there though which should maybe be communicated to guests . ”
