"We had to wait 50 mins in line to check in and only got our room at 5pm. Later we found out that the next day is a public holiday (Yang di-Pertuan Agong's birthday Holiday) which could be why the hotel was overwhelmed with local tourists and were short handed. Rooms were quite huge. Breakfast spread was quite good and the roti canai was one of the best hotel live stations that I’ve had! They had a wide variety of breads too. "A great choice for a short stay in Desaru. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious with large bathrooms and balconies. Pool and beach areas are beautiful and relaxing. Good variety of food at breakfast, service in the restaurants and bars was friendly but often rather slow. Limited dining options on site and not much else in the area other than a few other hotels and the golf course."
