“Perfect location for a one night stay prior to our cruise. Good sized room with a comfortable bed, refreshing shower, tea/coffee and ironing facilities. Nice restaurant where we had an enjoyable evening meal and wine, discounted by £5 per person by downloading the App. Free weekend parking. Taxi for 4 with all luggage to Southampton Terminal £25. Highly recommend. ”

“The front desk staff, Jimmy, at the hotel is very friendly and professional. The rooms have been renovated and are beautiful, with a great view outside the window. The location is convenient, as it is very close to Westquay, the largest shopping mall in Southampton. And to top it off, the room rate is already very affordable, and they even include breakfast. It's truly perfect!”

“Room was cold, radiator didnt work, after I requested was given a very old electric heater that was extremely noisy! Area around the property looked derilict gardens unkept and generally untidy. ”

“The venue was nice but felt a little tired. The window in the room we had did not shut properly as it was broken. The table in the room was sticky and dusty. The lift had a very poor paint job. The bar had a limited choice of drinks However the staff were friendly and the food at breakfast was good. Unfortunately there was a lack of small plates on the 1st morning and on the 2nd morning although there was a pile of plates in was actually a mixture of plates and saucers. It felt as if the place……

“Everything is in average. The hardware is definitely needed to be upgraded. Staff were nice. If you have plan to dine in their restaurant, be prepared to be very patient for waiting, however food was nice.”

“The room is quite good, on-site parking is just in front of the hotel. ALDI is just nearby.”

“We’ve booked one night here at first, then we decided to go there one day before and booked one more day. We told the reception lady when we arrived check in, she said it’s ok, no need to do the check in again and we could stay in the same room. The next day at ten mins before ten, a housekeeper locked on our door and told us to check out. We’re surprised and told her our case, she told us to check with the reception. Then the reception said we’ve to check out and come back by 4 to check in……

“Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room, helpfullness of the staff and the fantastic venue. Only minor issue was that there was only decaff coffee in our room. Soon fixed!! Would be happy to stay here again ”
