“We had a great stay for the eclipse. Going through a change of ownership with a great plan for the future. Great remote isolated location where everything and all the problems of your home / work life disappear and you are in the real rolling hill of Texas. Great legendary Texas hospitality”

“It very nice - cute place, clean, and not too far from town. The scenery from the patio was partially blocked by a shop/ garage. There was no place to hang clothing or no place to hang towels”

“The house was perfect for 2 families. I have never stayed in a self catering house with such a well equipped kitchen - there was nothing we needed that wasn't available to us! The house was clean, very comfy, and ideal for our needs. 2 very happy families enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving break, and would absolutely return!”

The property is away from town center so it was nice and quiet and we did not have to listen or deal with traffic. It was so nice to sit on the patio and have conversations while glancing at the stars.”

“Amazing historic house, very well decorated and clean. Great location 10 minutes from the town center. One item worth improving - the window curtains in master bedroom aren't fully closing the windows, so it is very bright in early morning.”

“Since it was a nice house, I expected a washer and dryer, therefore I packed accordingly. It had a washer and dryer but it was inaccessible. I anticipated a garage since it was prominent in the photo, but it also was inaccessible. Otherwise, everything was great. if I had invited guests there would have been one drawback. In the two smaller bedrooms the mattresses were uncomfortable with sqeaking bedsprings.”
