"Very good, apart from being put in a room directly beneath their bar/club on floor 32 which played loud music till 0100. They were able to move us the next day to a nicer room albeit 16 floors lower down. Service was great and place was well kept. "

"The resort is very spacious, you really need to call a buggy to get around. Nicely landscaped grounds and ocean views. The pool villas are private, luxurious and very comfortable. A 10 out of 10. The resort staff is exceptionally helpful, welcoming and professional. In order to get to the Samui beaches, take the free shuttle into town and walk a few steps. But don’t expect to be alone under the palm trees, the north east shore is definitely the touristy part of the island."

"We had an AMAZNG TIME. When we arrive the staff welcomed us warmly and knew that we were returning after 20 years! I had a knew accident and they had a doctor come immediately and set me up at a fabulous local hospital where i got A+ treatment -- and wheni returned there were flowers in the room with a Get well card signed by the staff. We had a wonderful time and were treated like family. Thanks so much! We lover the Oriental!"

"Shangri la was as luxurious and comfortable as we expected it to be, and more! Did not expect the mini bar items to be complimentary for the first time, that was a nice surprise. The staff were super accommodating to all of our requests. The pool is a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of busy Bangkok. The buffet had so many options and multiple cuisines, but maybe the food could be kept a little warmer. All other top hotels around have a dedicated ferry service for their guests to cross the...

"Really chill hotel, lots to do around. The apartments are really clean and has a really good vibe in the pool area. Staff are helpful, esp the on ground staff and housekeeping staff are really polite. Would def recommend. Gym is a little small for such a big property if you are looking to hit the hotel gym but just all in all highly recommend! "

"위치도 괜찮았고 식사도 맛있었고, 직원분들도 친절해서 좋았어요 다만, 제가 숙박했던 18층이 수리를 새로 했는지 페인트 냄새가 너무 나서 방에서도 냄새를 맡을 정도 였어요. 업무차 방문해서 호텔에서는 밤에만 있었기 때문에 방을 바꿔 달라고 하지는 않았지만, 휴가차 묵었더라만 체크인 하자마자 방을 바꿔달라고 했을 것 같아요."
