“My husband and I spent a weekend at Lake Placid. Our room was comfortable, and the location was very convenient, within walking distance to restaurants. We were also grateful that there was parking on-site, which made it easy for us to drive back-and-forth to trailheads in the area.”

“After a 6hr drive we were checked in efficiently, room was clean and a/c set at a comfortable level. Room was super quiet at night and very comfortable. Only downside was a very noisy cleaning staff member who was verbally loud in the am while in the hallway. Still is would highly recommend this hotel.”

“Everything from the property was as expected but the surrounding around the lake in this area is surrounded by some back flies which bite and draw blood. This is not in any manner related to High Peaks Resort but affects the entire area around Mother’s Day to Father’s Day.”

“It wa quaint. Would be nice if elevator worked. Hard fir older people to carry large bags. Never saw asingle oerso. No ice machine. n. Would be nice to ask questions. Front door always open, anyone could walk in and roam the place. Luving room area beautiful and old”

“Interesting place, but overall condition of the room was a little rougher than expected based on photos. We booked it in a hurry for just one night, and didn't realize until after we left that the room we were given was not the one we had booked. We booked the King Studio Colden, and ended up in the King Studio with Fireplace, which was quite different in terms of the bathroom and a few other things. Seems silly that it took us that long to figure it out, I know. Had we realize sooner, we……

“Perfect for a one-night stay. ”

“Property was great, convenient, staff was courteous. However, a couple of observations. There is no microwave in the room despite showing in the listing. We were supposed to receive the code automatically but, had to call the number to get the codes ”

“The rooms are similar to small apartments. they have a living room and kitchen along with a large bathroom and large room. absolutely fantastic and beautiful place. it is a 5 minute drive from all the restaurants and shops ”

“We would definitely come back. One problem not enough chairs by the lake and people take out the water boats canoes and paddle boats for an extremely long time. We didn’t get a chance to use them. ”
