“A very clean room for both of us. Breakfast was good. All the staff were very friendly, although we came almost midnight from the airport, the young lady at the front desk was very kind. We left in a hurry to catch the bus to Puerto Jimenez, my sister in law left her phone in the room. The owner drove to our taxi and caught us in time. Thank you very much for a wonderful service. We will be back there again in a week.”

“Great place to stay. Some amenities missing but great staff and breakfast ”

“This is a perfect property for travelers needing access to the San Jose Airport and many car rental companies. The property is gated, with street parking in front of the facility. The open kitchen allows guest access to use of fridge, microwave, coffee and water and eating area. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable with spacious bathrooms. No AC but ceiling fan in room. Note that this is a CASH only facility which caught me by surprise. The host was also gracious to allow us to drop luggage……

“This is a beautiful place. After a week of travelling around Costa Rica, this was a quiet and restful place to prepare for our trip home. The birds and butterflies were very busy in the morning, and the view is very beautiful. It is located less than one hour from the San Jose airport, and the town of San Ramon has many options for dining. The hosts were excellent, and a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast was provided, including perfect gallo pinto. I highly recommend Casa Amanecer.”

“Our stay at Cielo ranch exceeded our expectations. The hosts are lovely people who helped us book activities in surrounding areas, made us excellent food, and showed us their farm. We didn’t want to leave. The kids had fun in the pool and the entire residence is wonderfully designed and beautiful. Waking up to sounds of birds and frogs was a highlight as well as seeing a variety of birds on the property. Thanks very much!”

“Gorgeous property, quiet paradise in the jungle. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the surrounding gardens. Only thing we’d change is a king size bed.”

“Highly recommend staying here! It is about 40 minutes away from La Fortuna, but very well worth it. The host offered a night tour through the huge private yard and we say so many frogs and lizards! This was a perfect and quiet relaxing stay after a day of adventure. ”
