“The location at the top of the hill has amazing views of the Central Valley. The accommodations are basic but a welcome bottle of wine, snacks, butter and milk for coffee are nice touches. However, there is no air conditioning and the windows face due east. In the morning, that means bright sun directly into the sleeping space. There are aluminum blinds which help lessen the sunlight a bit, but unfortunately they rattle loudly if the wind blows and vents are open to let in fresh air. The biggest……

“On the property lives 2 roosters which are very loud (and beautifull). And you have to feed them otherwise they will scream non stop. They start to beg for food around 4 am. Plus there is no hot water in sinks which makes living very uncomfortable (no dishwasher as well). If you want to have a nice shower - forget about it! Showers have electrical warmers and you have to use small water presser to make it work. We got no hot water in both bathrooms when we arrived. Later shower was fixed in……

“Pictures don't do this property justice. It was super clean and very well maintained. The location was exactly what we were looking for - very quiet and secluded but a short drive to many things. Aileen was very easy to work with and was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations to our questions. The property is beautifully maintained as well. We would definitely recommend this property.”

“Les hotes ont été très aidants. La petite maison est très tranquille et la vue sur les montagnes est magnifique. Elle est située à 20 minutes de l'entrée pour visiter le Poas et à 30 minutes de l'aéroport. Le jaccuzzi les soir est magique. Il serait agréable qu'une affiche soit installée puisque nous avons eu un peu de mal à trouver l'entrée qui n'avait pas d'adresse apparente.”
