A lovely historical house and setting, wonderful and interesting accents around, excellent books with house and New Bern history to read, our room was comfortable and perfect with view of the clock, gracious additions to make our stay like home, the breakfast was delicious and excellent, off street parking and hosts helpful and personable. "The property is in a really great area. The home itself is a great place to stay for a vacation, with many beds and enough rooms. However, the bathrooms and kitchen seemed not well maintained. While we did not need to use the kitchen, we were not keen to use the Bathroom for a shower since we didnt like it . Overall good stay, except clenliness of the place."
