“We very much enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic!!! Many of the canals can have a lot of foot and bike traffic, especially at night. This location is close to everything, but on a quiet canal. We loved the funky old boat, but I would caution that the photos might be unintentionally misleading. “I cannot recommend Han's houseboat enough. We spent a delightful week and it was a real WOW experience. After long days exploring Amsterdam, the cool breeze off the water and gentle rocking of the boat was remarkably relaxing. Many of the major tourist sites are within walking distance. Centraal Station is only a ten-minute walk, and from there you can go anywhere. Even with four of us, the houseboat was spacious and had everything we needed. “Cozy and comfy houseboat with everything you need. The owner was very accommodating and maintained communication to you ensure we enjoyed our stay. We arrived on a Thursday and our first night was relaxing. However, party goers from Friday night lead to a 2am awakening to yelling and screaming on Saturday morning. We would still return here next time we're in Amsterdam.”

“I stayed with 2 of my friends in this cute little boat. We had an amazing time where it was walking distance from the centre. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to stay on an affordable boat in the canals of Amsterdam!!”

“Wonderful experience. Martyn was very hospitable. The location is quiet and across from the zoo. Waking up to elephants and zebras was incredible. We enjoyed a nice hit tea on top of the boat in the mornings while we watched boaters and swimmers come by. We truly enjoyed this property and it’s fully stocked kitchen supplies. ”

“This houseboat is not fancy - but it is as comfortable as being at a friend's cabin - we didn't want to leave. Robertino, the host, is very communicative and welcoming, and also a great source for recommendations in the area. “If your looking for the quintessential Amsterdam experience this is it! The house boat is close to everything while still being is a quiet residential neighborhood. Robertino is as gracious a host as you could ask for and will do what ever he can to make your stay in Amsterdam wonderful. We cannot recommend this houseboat highly enough. “We had such a lovely and easy going stay on the Ms Luctor. We were conveniently located near Centraal Station and could get anywhere we wanted with the bikes available to us. Breakfast every morning was such a treat. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had just enough apartment-like space to be cozy while visiting Amsterdam.”

“Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar! Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und alles war ganz toll vorbereitet. Das Schiff liegt etwas 15 Minuten mit der Bahn vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Man kann auch einen ausgedehnten Spaziergang bis zur Innenstadt machen - kein Problem! Die Gastgeberin hat uns noch richtig gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt in Amsterdam gegeben.
