“When I made the booking, it is a two bedrooms room. However, the design of this room is strange. It has one big door and has two doors on left and right. It just like a two separate rooms. My kids are small and cannot accept this room type. However, I get upgrade for my room type and live in a house that is great. “This property is perfectly located overlooking Dutchman's beach, a stones throw from the ocean and reasonably priced. It’s located in a quiet area with a full kitchen and two bedrooms with a door to separate the lounge. My kids enjoyed being able to duck down to the beach with ease and I really enjoyed watching the sunsets and enjoying the birdlife. “The property itself is great, clean, modern and basically equipped. Getting in and out of the pool from the apartment required a bit of effort as there is no ladder. Not easy for young kids or older people. We did find an area just down from the apartment where you could use steps. The 40 degree weather didn’t help as the electricity went off several times for long periods. Only one control for both AC. Having to make your own bed at that price point is having a lend. ”

“This was a cute self contained studio nestled to the rear of a block of units. comfortably furnished with a fresh beachy vibe & lovely white linen & towels. I did get a bit of noise from the neighbours comings & goings, especially as they had kids & kept windows open, & especially if they came to drop stuff in their bins as they were located nearest to the studio. “Garage door wouldn't close/lock which was disconcerting. Felt like I was getting bitten by something in the bed. Flyscreen in bathroom was broken which meant there were some bugs in the room.”

“Enjoyed our stay. Everything you need is provided, though property is looking a bit tired overall, photos may need updating. The issue with property entry fobs is a security risk - garage was opening by itself at times when other residents were coming and going . Short walk through bush to the beach is nice. Overall comfortable stay. and excellent check-in process by caretaker. Would consider staying here again.”

“Location was great, property had everything we needed. We accidentally locked ourselves out at one point and Janet was so responsive and we were able to source a spare key and get back inside within 30mins.”

It was close to some great pubs and places to eat, as well as near a nice shopping district. Definitely will keep it in our books if we’re at Newcastle again! Thanks! ”
