“Lovely hotel. Room v clean and warm. Staff took the time to talk to me and make me feel welcome. I was travelling alone. Food v good too. Only one negative was the mattresses in room one. Definitely need replacing far too soft and bent in in the middle. This is easily rectifiable. Could be my personal taste though. Room was very nice. Would definitely stay here again. ”

Unfortunately we’re informed that the restaurant was closed that evening which we would have preferred to know beforehand so we could have arranged something else. Room clean but a little on the small side. Hotel could do with a little updating but it looked as if that was in hand. Breakfast plentiful and good along with the service ”

We stayed there essentially because of the prospect of good food, and we certainly enjoyed our meal. The folk there were welcoming so it was a good experience, .”

Lovely flowers fruit and homemade shortbread made it a special treat. Delicious food and friendly host .Will definitely book again.A must for a quiet break away.This is a littke gem tucked away in lovely surroundings. .”

“What was unique was being charged £80 for a squat. This is a dilapidated, dated and disgusting hotel with mould on the shower head that was most likely a health hazard.”
