“Very accommodating and comfortable space. A lot of outdoor seating with amazing views!”

“On the property lives 2 roosters which are very loud (and beautifull). And you have to feed them otherwise they will scream non stop. They start to beg for food around 4 am. Plus there is no hot water in sinks which makes living very uncomfortable (no dishwasher as well). If you want to have a nice shower - forget about it! Showers have electrical warmers and you have to use small water presser to make it work. We got no hot water in both bathrooms when we arrived. Later shower was fixed in……

“Bret and his crew were awesome people, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The property is wonderful, we hiked it almost everyday following the many trails and finding plateaus with amazing views of Lake Arenal. Sitting on the patio having a favourite beverage, we listened to howler monkeys, saw white faced monkeys, and many species of birds including parrots and toucans. Overall we had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend a stay at CRParaiso.”

“Pictures don't do this property justice. It was super clean and very well maintained. The location was exactly what we were looking for - very quiet and secluded but a short drive to many things. Aileen was very easy to work with and was very helpful with suggestions and recommendations to our questions. The property is beautifully maintained as well. “This place was great. Extremely close to the cloud forest reserve. The property manager went above and beyond. We got a home made breakfast brought to us every morning that was delicious. She arranged adventures for us to partake in nearby and followed up when a shuttle didn't arrive as previously scheduled. We had a wonderful experience at this property and highly recommend booking with Christina and supporting a Costa Rican if you are visiting Monteverde!!! You won't be disappointed.”

“This was an absolutely breathtaking place to stay at. A place where you could just spend all day in the house and be totally content. Amazing views! We just spent a lot of time getting rid of little critters and bugs. The host gave a very well detailed message the day we booked this VRBO about the property, which made checking in and finding the house easy. We messaged 2 days prior to arrival and then again the day we checked out but did not receive any replies. The host does provide a WhatsApp……

“The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep —……
