“Came to Bakersfield for a family party. The house was awesome!!! We will rent again. We stay in houses as we like to gather and cook. The kitchen was minimally stocked. One small fry pan and small stock pot was a challenge but we made it work. I now build a “vacation tub” that I put what I need. We ran to store for showering soap and kurig pods but overall great stay!”

“We had a great stay. The neighborhood was quiet and the home was spacious. Lovely backyard as well. It definitely met our needs. We were in town for a sporting event so it was nice to have a quiet place to wind down. The only issue we noticed was that the flooring was a bit squeaky. No one can sneak up on you so that is a good thing I suppose. If we return we would stay again.”

“Beautiful area, lots of great trails and close to nature. The cabin itself was very homely and welcoming. Lots of board games and group games provided for families or groups of friends. Cons: Wi-Fi was spotty and would go out quite frequently throughout the day/night. Even after we reset the router multiple times. We couldn't get a sustained connection enough to use the TV. Only Verizon has service here. It was difficult getting service while on the trails. The power couldnt support two……

“Super cute cabin. The view is really nice. There is a big window in the living room that captures open mountain views. Quiet and high up the top of Pine Mountain. The TV is in the basement room and not the living room so that was a bummer. We went out a lot in the town, but it is always nice to watch a movie together. “Four friends met at the Mayor’s House to vacay together. It was very relaxing and beautiful. Cleaning crew was still there upon our arrival after 4 pm but left shortly thereafter. They advised the vacuum cleaner broke, so we swept the house each day. Having a washer and dryer was great. We planned ahead and brought our own laundry soap and dryer sheets as none was provided.
