“Our family was in Cleveland last weekend for our son's graduation. As expected, almost all hotels were already booked. However, we preferred to stay in a home with a kitchen to cater to our restricted diets. Kristen's Carriage House was the perfect choice since it was close to CWRU and also to our son's apartment. The Carriage House is behind the main house and the path is a bit run down and not easy to maneuver if you have strollers or need a wheelchair. But the house has been tastefully……

“Pretty place”

“Cottage is very clean with one exception, the exhaust fan in the bathroom could use a little attention. I was excited because it was described as a "Lakeside cottage", but the outside really needs some TLC. Nice if you are the indoor type, but not much outside appeal.”

“The house and the furnishings were beautiful, as was the historic area. There was a dead duck out by the pond and when the hosts were alerted, they apologized, but it wasn’t taken care of. We were bummed there was a three-day minimum stay, because we could only be there two nights, but we were aware of that at time of booking.”

“The place was as shown in the listing. But the bedroom layout was such that there were no side tables or small lamps. Made it hard to read or have a place for your glasses or phone. We were not able to log in to WiFi as the provided password did not work for us. There were two TVs but you needed to bring your own streaming sign in and passwords to watch anything.”

“Nice cottage was very convenient for our stay. Easy parking, nice little yard. Stocked kitchen and clean. ”

“Easy to get to, very very clean, directions easy to understand, pride in ownership, beautiful flat lake shore. Everything was in working order, handicap shower was nice, nicely decorated with lake cabin feel.”

“Had a great stay. My son really loved the bunk beds and the games in the kids room. We all really enjoyed ourselves. Very relaxing. Probably the best stocked kitchen of any place Ive stayed at.”

“Good location for us, golf and grocery store nearby. Fan in bedroom needs to be replaced. It was too noisy to use at night. Would have been nice to have patio furniture cleaned as it was dirty enough we couldn't really use it. Main con was there are no curtains on the windows in the living and kitchen areas so people staying in the main house can easily see into the cottage at night. The bedroom had shutters so was private.”
