Despite the stairs, which alerted me to the possibility that I packed too much for a weekend trip, I was happy with my stay at Casa Mariquita.
It was a busy weekend, with hiker groups, vacation folks and a really fun LA Art Deco Ball, which allowed for a weekend of costumed play all over Catalina.

Aloha, we are seniors thus the 2 flights of stairs with luggage was a bit difficult. Staff did not offer to help. Hours are not accommodating, as coffee in morning is not served till after 8am. Other than that everything else was great. Nice room, clean bathroom easy access to town and quiet.

Overall really nice stay. They were not able to check us in early or allow us to have a late stay but overall good.

Very quiet and cozy room. Right in the hart of town. Well kept property. Has all the shops walking distance.

Heater didn’t work. WiFi didn’t work. Screeching noise when bathroom light turned on. Staff tried 5 different Wifi passwords but none worked. Staff unable to find portable heater. No other room available.
