“There was nothing to like. The area was dirty, unsafe. The host and VRBO would not reply to us to let us in. We were left without a place to stay at 6 PM at nite and had to drive all the way back to Glasgow for accommodations. Extremely disappointed in Expedia and VRBO for leaving us stranded. Be aware! ”

We prefer the self catering rather than the bed and breakfast type places because we are jet lagged and tend to sleep in. We also don’t eat a large breakfast. The retreat was luxury from start to finish with beautiful touches throughout the property to create the feeling of a home away from home. Wi-Fi connection was excellent and full cable services and digital apps available, which was perfect for rainy days. “Having read excellent reviews of Tayview Lodges, my wife and I arrived with great expectation and we were most certainly not disappointed. Our lodge, Little Lodge 2, was immaculate and in pristine condition. The spotlessly clean windows afforded uninterrupted views of the serene surroundings, the lodges being extremely well spaced out. “We had been looking forward to our weekly stay in Scotland for almost 3 years. Sadly, the villa did not meet our high expectations. First, the villa was in a nice location in Blairgowrie with a large yard, and a quiet neighborhood. The house has great character but it is old and rustic. There are 10 bedrooms inside the main house and 8 cottages in the courtyard. Ten of them are king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The rooms are a nice size, but the carpet is old and the floors creak when you……

“We really enjoyed our stay at Blairbell Cottage! It's a beautiful cottage and perfect for our family of 6. The kids loved the games room with the games, table football and SNES. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped. The wi-fi is very fast and rock solid. The beds are really comfy in every room. The views from the front over the fields and moors is beautiful. We did walks around down to the lochs and around the estate, and spotted wildlife including red squirrels.……
