“Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!”

“Great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Cabin is small and perfect for two people. We stayed in the Nut House. The bathroom is very clean but very small. If you are much over 6 foot or 200lbs the shower is going to be a tight fit. Not an issue but something to consider. Overall it was a great cabin to stay in. ”

“Great stay- perfect place to stay - between Boone and Banner Elk. Near to the parkway for hiking and sightseeing plus Grandfather Vineyard and winery was an easy daily trip to end the afternoon.”

“Cabin was clean we love the hot tub loved everything about the cabin. It was really nice to be backed up to the woods and see the nature had trouble working the TV but other than that everything was good.”

“The property was great and the location amazing. We enjoyed all the quirks of the property. Place was clean and organized. Everything was well labeled and easy to navigate. There were two negatives for me: first the bed I slept in was older and squeaked when you moved. The bed appeared to be an older mattress box spring with a foam topper, causing me to sleep in a hole. The other disappointment was the sauna. One of the reasons we wanted to stay there was for the sauna and hot tub. The hot tub……

“We had a wonderful weekend stay! The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean.”

“We had a great time at the treehouse! There was more than enough room for my family of 5. We all had so much fun. Beautiful view. The only thing that i could say is. There wasnt enough curtains to cover all the windows. They had a sign that said leave door locked for bears (paraphrasing) and my kids were terrified at night. They were worried about bears looking the windows. LOL but thats how kids are. Also, my 4 year old came to the mountains dying to see Bigfoot. And they had Bigfoots height……

“Location of this place is awesome. So close to Fred’s for breakfast and bullwinkles for dinner. My son and I came up and did some hiking on grandfather mtn. We brought our pickleball set and played on the courts. The place is clean and had everything I needed. Thanks for an amazing but too short vacay.”

“My son and I stayed at Denise & Ed's condo for a weekend to do some hiking in the area. The condo is located on top of Sugar Mountain with a beautiful sunset view. The staff at the condo complex was very friendly. The condo was very clean and even had starter coffee, shampoos, soaps. The beds were very comfy. Denise was very communicative and ensured that we arrived safely and had a wonderful stay. What a great experience!”

“The house was just as described. It was enough room for our family of 5, close enough to everything we wanted to do, & hot tub was great! The only issues, which were not deal breakers & I’d still stay again, were the fact the the loft is super hot for whoever stays up there and the smell of sewage. I assume it is coming from the garage disposal. We bought a candle and some febreeze spray and it was fine. We would definitely stay here again!”
