“We enjoyed our stay at 3 Alan Park. Very centrally located. We were able to drive to the national forest one day, go to Glenock one day, go to Saint Andrews one day. Easy walk to Sterling Castle. The hosts were very good to respond. We had a little issue finding parking at first, but figured it out with their help. As the hosts have mentioned, if you don’t do stairs, this is not the apartment for you. The kitchen had everything you need. Wi-Fi worked great.”

The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. “Came here with my family to celebrate my 60th birthday. Communication with the owner was excellent and check in accommodated us arriving early.There was everything and more on offer. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for.the selection of games kept everyone entertained. And the gift of chocolates and wine gave that extra special.touch...would definitely recommend and return.”

“This property is not well maintained, updated and appears very lived in. The heating wasn't working properly, the upstairs toilet ran constantly, there was one threadbare bath towel per person and many other problems. We had booked for one week and left after one night. The host was very responsive and refunded our money without any problems. We have stayed in VRBO properties all over the world, but this was our first bad experience.”

“When we got there, we were a little bit apprehensive as the bar underneath had been closed and there was construction on the front side but once we got inside the room was fantastic and we were definitely look it again”

“Overall the property was good to stay in however the following issues should be considered. The pillows were extremely lumpy and unusable. The quilt cover was too big for the quilt that made sleeping uncomfortable. The security lights from the joinery business across the road shone into the main bedroom all night as the blinds did not provide coverage and there were no curtains. It was difficult to pull the blinds down as there was no drawing mechanisms. The postcode using Google maps does……

“I had such a lovely stay at The Bothy. On arrival it is obvious how much care goes into to the cottage to ensure your stay is as welcoming as possible. There was supply of tea, coffee and milk amongst other items. Also supplied was a great deal of information on the local area, details on eateries including cafes and pubs and menus for local takeaways. The cottage is in a perfect for one to two people want to explore the Scottish countryside and is also close to Stirling and other smaller towns……

“Beautiful house with a glorious mountain view! Lovely spot beside the river and the pub. We’ll equipped house, beautifully decorated. We travelled with young kids who loved the garden, grounds and locale. We’d love to stay again if the host will have us :-)”

“Our family of 5 (all adults) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dollar! The town is charming, and we especially enjoyed being able to walk down the street to the coffee shops, restaurants and co-op grocery store. The home is warm and inviting. We appreciated that there was room for everyone to have "their space". The beds super comfortable, and three bathrooms were very much appreciated. It was also wonderful to have a washer and dryer available for our use. We very much felt "at home".”
