“This is an old building with many stairs and levels. The room was fine. Lighting was a bit dim in the toilet and the room initially had a lingering smell of cleaning chemicals though that dissipated. The evening meal was OK and the beer was in good condition showing someone knows how to keep real ale. The breakfast was excellent! Suggest that an addition of a USB port in the bedroom would be good.”

“Booked as my surprise 30th get away, partner had organised with the hotel to decorate the room and it was so lovely to walk in to. Host was very friendly and the place was very clean. Breakfast was good and plenty of it if you wanted it, the only thing it could have benefited from was some bacon for my hangover on the Saturday morning haha. We had a bottle of wine in the room which was good before heading out for my birthday night. We would happily stay again. Parking was fine on the friday when……

“Das Haus liegt etwas zurück gelegen von der Straße auf einem riesigen Grundstück mit genügend Parkplätzen und einem Garten mit Sitzmöglichkeiten. Großer Frühstücks- und Gäste-Aufenthaltsraum. Unser Zimmer war riesengroß mit einem topmodernen Badezimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Von dem Vater-Tochter-Gespann hatten wir mit dem Vater John einen ganz hervorragenden und freundlichen Kontakt. Er ist sehr unterhaltsam, hat viele Geschichten auf Lager, gibt Sightseeing Tipps, ist sehr bemüht um……

“A very comfortable and relaxing stay at Manian Lodge! The staff were all friendly and helpful and the rooms/suite were very clean and well equipped. There were a lot of steps to get to our accommodation which my husband had some difficulty with. There was a lovely view of the countryside from our lounge. However, the reception, restaurant and bar would benefit from updating and decorating. With a little TLC this place could be really beautiful. We had breakfast and evening meals there which……

“I enjoyed our four night stay, in particular the bed was comfortable, everything worked, quiet so a good sleep, breakfast good too. The owner was friendly. There was a group of musicians just playing folk and other acoustic to each other on one night which was excellent. Locationis good too, in the middle of Pembroke, car parking at the rear (via the Parade). Initial impression was not great as it felt like stepping back in time and some decor was tired inside and out The service was sometimes……
