I was a fan of Indigo and IHG hotels, so Indigo was preferred over other hotels despite of slightly higher price. I did not have strong problems with the room size given I was fully aware of the close proximity to city centre and the quiet neighbourhood.
When we checked in, the receptionist asked if we wanted a breakfast at 10Euro per pax and we had politely declined. Guess this is pretty much what travellers want - try something different by exploring different restaurants and to have some peaceful morning without any worries about time. So, she asked again and we declined again. A minute later, that receptionist asked me to do some registration stuff and also to sign a form about breakfast that I could enjoy the special offer of 10Euro by signing it. And I signed it. In the 3 nights of stay, we did not take ANY breakfast and honestly we didn't even know where the breakfast place was. When we checked out, we were billed 60Euro for our breakfast, and we immediately told the receptionist on duty that we DID NOT TAKE any breakfast there so there might be something wrong with the bill. She then showed me my signed form and said I AGREED to pay the bill upon check-out. The subject of the form was about the OFFER as what the receptionist told me and then in the form, they did say I agreed to reserve the breakfast.
So, I would tell people NOT to fall to the same trick again if they like Indigo like I did.
TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT AND WON'T BE BACK!
