"Small but beautiful and clean apartment, 2 blocks from the beach. Check-in is at a completely different address several blocks away, which was unclear in the app, so I had to walk some distance with my bags to find it. The staff were very sweet and they drove me back to the apartment after check in. Check out procedure is also vague, I dropped off the key cards, then emailed to confirm that was all I had to do, but have yet to receive a response. Unclear if the problem is with the Hotels.com...

"We had a nice stay at Acacia. It is in a less touristy neighborhood but just a block from the Metro so it was convenient to get around. The front desk staff was excellent and very helpful. The restaurants in the area were patronized by locals and very authentic. Our favorite was O Retornino. There's a small kitchen but you need to ask for a kettle and there was only an Spanish coffee maker that we did not know how to use. Also the shower was part of a tub enclosure and was difficult to step in...

"Ely at the front desk is the best you can get in BCN. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Everything was seamless from booking to check out. Grocery store is a 2min walk, train station is a 10min walk, Parc Guell is also down the road. a lot of food and coffee options. Very safe to walk at night. Just a minor recommendation would be to add shelves and hooks in the bathroom so it's easier to store toiletries. "

"The property is well maintained and upgraded. The rooms are average size (not spacious) but clean. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is far from city center so you have to cab or bus in- not walkable. There is a nice waterfront area at walking distance and mall right around the corner but the location felt a bit far from the main hub. I went for an event at the convention center right next to it so perfect for that. Nice breakfast buffet and restaurant with water...
