“Our family of five had a wonderful stay at the Gate House! The location can’t be beat for its proximity to the Perry entrance of Letchworth Park, and for its beautiful quiet setting and grounds. “Good communication with owners…helpful directions & info We loved the area, especially Marilla County Store( spent 2 hrs still didn’t see it all!) enjoyed walks in neighborhood!! Alton’s restaurant has good brunch, TGS family owned barbecue out of this world!! Both close by. Pretty Victorian interior, clean bright open kitchen, charming parlor, bed comfortable, bathroom showers need to be cleaned better ( only disappointment) Overall, 3 1/2 - 4 stars rating. Nice experience!! Love this area!!”

“A unique experience. The view from the verandah was lovely, and the perfect place to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the end of a busy day of hiking. It accomodated our extended family if 11. The pool was refreshing but not heated. The owner gave a behind the scene tour of the rooms not opened for guests. He was a font of historical knowledge.”

“Lovely property; seemed like we were in the country but only minutes from shopping and main routes. The place was outfitted with everything imaginable, like baggies, tea, coffee and SO many things. They even had a dishwasher and great water pressure in the shower. I've never stayed in a place where the owner outfitted things so completely! Great host!! Hope we can stay again to visit our son.”

“We found this property while looking for a place to stay during our visit to letchworth state park. The location was perfect granting easy access to the park. The property itself was unique, luxurious, and ideal for rest and play. My two boys loved playing with the barn animals. My wife and I enjoyed cooking in the finely appointed chef's kitchen. “We had the best time at This place!! Everything was so beautiful and clean. The house is super with 4 bedrooms. And 3 baths. All the rooms were decorated nicely and the kitchen was very well equipped. The view out the window was unbelievable and you could walk around all the grass in the area. As a bonus, there is the most beautiful barn.I've ever seen on the property! I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat! kitchen is also very well equipped with everything you need. "I almost lost my bag. In the end my coat was stranded at the hotel. I chose not to have my coat because I had a flight to catch. The service staff changed a few times, but none of them satisfied me. They were either very anxious or seemed to want to sleep. They almost left my driver's license in his copier and almost prevented me from boarding the plane. It's horrific, kind of unbelievable. The living conditions and environment are acceptable, and the price of the room I booked is quite reasonable, but then I was forced to pay a high price again to live for 4 hours, and I actually paid for one night. They took a deposit but refunded my room without notifying me. I said before that if I didn't come back and check out it meant I would stay and they agreed. But then it was bad, and generally not pleasant after one night. Lost my coat, almost missed my plane, almost stranded my driver's license. The service is very unprofessional."
