It was greatly appreciated that we had the chance to experience this home. It is inviting and the munute you walk in you feel like your home.”

“My mom and I stayed here to attend a concert in Portland. This place is well cared for. It is secluded, quiet, and peaceful. The room is beautiful and everything was very clean. There were snacks, water, and coffee in the room - the host really thought of everything. There is a space heater/fan in the room to control the temperature. The hot tub is incredible - it is on a nice deck which overlooks a beautiful forested backyard. It felt like we were in the middle of the woods. There was a super……

“We are a group of 8 friends who go on vacation for a week every year.( for over 30 years ) We are 70 years plus old! Property and views were wonderful. Many deer sightings, a view of the Columbia River. House was beautiful and updated, each couple had their own bathrooms attached to rooms. It is 3 stories, so if anyone has issues with stairs consider that when booking. We had no problem. Property owners were very attentive and would definitely recommend this property.”

“As we work hard and play harder, this place was great. We used this house for offsite retreat for a few executives. They were able to hunker down, get work done and play some games. Lots of space to spread out.”

“Our stay was good, that being said. It’s listed as being secluded and private. It’s far from private and only secluded because of the location. The need to list that the hot tub is not private and it is not next to the house.. it’s across the muddy pine needle filed parking area and down a muddy trail. The hot tub is a great feature, but if your looking for seclusion and privacy.. this may not be the place for you. The house has a spa bathtub, that would be great if the neighbors construction……

“My niece and I spent two nights at this apartment. It was very cute. It had a nice yard with chickens. The host was very responsive.”

“We really loved the neighborhood, with great spots to walk to. Steeplejack is a stone's throw away, a long with other great locations along Broadway. The unit itself is very nice, on the ground floor and we'll taken care of. Our family of 4 with littles under 4 had a great time. We had a little trouble with check-in using the multiple code sequence, but Jody was available right away and helped us get in in no time. We would love to stay here again!”

“This is a cozy efficiency in very quiet and beautiful neighborhood near the park. Easy walk to park and shops and restaurants on 23rd. Hostess is lovely and all communications with her were prompt and helpful! Would definitely stay here again!”

“Spacious & centrally located”

“The apartment was everything we expected. What you see in the pictures is absolutely accurate. The outside garden/side yard was just beautiful! Bob always answered any questions in a timely manner and was available by phone if we needed. The house is located in a wonderful neighborhood. We went for a long weekend and was able to walk to the park. Uber is readily available if you don't rent a car. We highly recommend this apartment and hope to stay here again in the future.”

“The apartment was in the basement of the home. It was clean and well appointed. My only issue is my wife and I are tall...6'3 and 5'10. A shorter person would not have to dodge the support beams...LOL! Other than that and not seeing the cats it was a very comfortable stay.”

“When David built this basement apartment, he did not spare expense. The design and the quality of materials, fixtures and appliances is top notch. Not to mention the top of the line Sony projector, movie screen and surround sound. It feels like you are in a theater. Of course now we are spoiled at home with our puny big screen LOL. We will definitely stay there again.”
