However during our stay the place did not have a lot of guests. I am not sure if this is a good thing for some guests, but I wished it was a bit more lively.”

“Staff at RIU is amazing, they provide excellent service. Location is great with beautiful beach 🏝️. Property is well maintained. Food is great. Spa and wellness, very good. The only thing where I would like to see some improvements are rooms that can use some updates, bed mattresses are slightly too firm for my preference. Overall I would recommend this property to my friends and family.”

“Original room 8118 very bad air-conditioning. Outside of that the property was very nice. The Staff at this location are amazing. Ceasar was the best concierge we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I believe he went out of his way to make our stay extra special. ”

“RD 2024 was great! Wish had more authentic Dominican dishes. I went off to Yeya Restaurant to get some nice Dominican food. Nice area close to restaurants and bars. ”

“Darling and Benlin helped to make our short vacay great. What prevented me for given 5 stars is the lack of towels. It was very difficult to get towels to shower with so bring your own so you won’t run into issues. We had booked a swim out for 3 and It was difficult to get 3 sets of towels. For the swim out pool towels should be accessible in the room. I had to walk all the way to beach just to get towels even though we was staying on the adult side next to the adult pool. Staff would not give……

“Pros: The private pool and bar were exceptional. Beautiful, clean, friendly. The staff are all wonderful and helpful. Reception was excellent. Great drinks!! Everyone was sooooo nice and friendly. Cons: The beach is covered in seaweed, as is the water. So much so that we could not enter the ocean. The view is lovely, but it is not a “beach vacation.” The other not great issue is the food. Just not very good. ”

“I enjoyed my 3 nights at this property. The pool view was absolutely amazing even though there is not an ocean view. I paid extra for breakfast and it was wonderful. Unfortunately, there were a few things that I did not like, such as the WiFi only working in the lobby. The balcony sliding door not being able to close or lock. They did not provide wash cloths. Other than that, it is an awesome hotel.”
