“I paid more for it thinking it was nicer, but honestly it wasn’t (I stayed in two hotels on my PA trip). Nothing special about this hotel. No pool. Breakfast was ok. Self parking. Beds are fine. I think the bed was more on the firm side, which I like. Nothing right next to it but a plaza across the street and gas stations. Room wasn’t spotless but it wasn’t super nasty either. Smelled fine (a lot of hotels have a weird smell). ”

“Close to Geneva College, this is an older home than has been fixed up. It is simple, but convenient and clean. The owners were responsive to any questions or needs that we had during our stay.”

“FYI - the bar restaurant is closed on Sundays and the pool is in a different hotel. These things were why we booked this hotel and it was a big disappointment when we found this out, but we made it work by going to a Texas Roadhouse (God help us) nearby. ”

“We needed a place to stay while visiting a loved one that was in the hospital. Little did we know how perfect these little gems would be! Patricia was a great host! The cottages at the river harbor were very clean and had everything we needed. Not to mention that they are located right on the river! Amazing! There are several places to eat within walking distance and a grocery store just a short drive away. Do yourself a favor and book now!”

“I will try to be as fair as I can here with our review. The house is absolutely gorgeous sitting on a no wake zone of the beaver river. We had previously taken 3 trips to the marina without too much problems. The owners always seemed to have a little anxiety with us launching on their ramp. The first trip was a day trip that we gladly paid the $50 transient dock fee and was told that they let me "slide" by using their ramp. 2nd visit was an overnight trip that once again, we gladly paid the……

“We enjoyed relaxing at the cute cozy cottage. We were in town to go to the Harmony Christmas Festival. It was nice to hang out at the cottage after our day out. We saw deer every morning and enjoyed the beautiful sunrises. Dinner at Shakespeare’s Restaurant was excellent and such a unique experience.”

“I was waited on by the owner Ken who was very kind and gracious but the employees were nowhere to be found when needed. This hotel is a Landmark of Rochester and very old but updated. The cleaning could have been much better but was not the worse I have ever encountered. They do offer free WiFi and is conveniently located in downtown Rochester. There is multiple stores within walking distance. ”

“I was pleasantly surprised by this stay. I read the online reviews and they were not wrong. This is a comfortable, friendly hotel. The room was clean, comfy, and I loved the kitchette as I needed the fridge to store my things from a recent shopping trip in Pittsburgh. I definitely recommend this hotel and it will be my go-to when staying in the area.”
