“It's a charming rather quirky hotel with dark panelling and tartan carpets in places. It is very comfortable though the bed was hard and slanted to the right. Breakfast is ok but could be larger portions. It is 5 minutes walk from a fantastic beach and it is also dog-friendly. I would book again.”

“This Hotel is a 'smart hotel' where you get a code to open the Hotel & the room. The room was huge....2 TV's, a couch, big bed and 2 chairs & table beside the bed. The bathroom was also huge. A spa bath with shower over the bath. 2 basins. This was a great hotel. The restaurant below (not associated with the Hotel as such, was also excellent.”

“A working farm in a gorgeous part of the world. The host was super hospitable the room was lovely and clean. The bed was not that comfortable for me but ymmv. The bathroom is shared but not a problem for me.”

“We booked here for it's easy drive to Dumfries House. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant and bar are nice informal and relaxing areas. Our weather was poor, so we couldn't take advantage of the great looking garden area. The room was small but adequate with a nicely refurbished ensuite. Pretty much as we expected for a 3 star small hotel /inn really.”
