“You can't beat the view of the Albemarle sound from the living room and brand new dock below. Watched eagles catch their dinner right off the dock and my husband caught quite a few catfish himself. Bed and couch were comfortable. Got lucky with sunset one evening and words cannot describe the beauty. Edenton is quite charming. Downtown Roots made a mean Cuban sandwich and 309 Bistro & Spirits was wonderful! We day tripped to Elizabeth City (Museum of the Albemarle) and Fort Raleigh and Manteo……

“The Bungalow is well laid out, spacious, well furnished and in a fantastic location for exploring Edenton. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed to be able to eat some of our meals at home. We enjoyed the little screened in porch, too. It is definitely a well designed living space and we hope to be able to come back for a longer visit sometime soon.”

“We have stayed in a few vrbo's and I have to say by far this is the best one we have ever stayed in.Theona has to be one of the nicest people I think I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She has thought of everything her attention to detail is amazing the house was wonderful.”

“This cabin was exactly what I was wanting. It's very cute and cozy. The beds are very comfy and clean. The outside was also very clean and the pier was very cute. We got to meet the neighborhood fat cat and he is very friendly. Fire pit was great. The only thing it was lacking was clear instructions on what the check out instructions were but we did clean up our mess and left it clean. The drive into Edenton was about 20 min. And wasn't a bad drive but if you are wanting to drive back and forth……

“We are building the house at the Albemarle Plantation and it was good to find a shelter right in the neighborhood. It's a beautiful neighborhood with a wonderful golf course and marina. The club house restaurant, the dockside cafe and the pool just a few minutes from this property. The marina for the boaters is nearby. NIce small condo with all necessary amenities. We enjoyed staying there. Thank you to the owners.”

“Back again but for 5 weeks! Waterwinds is even more beautiful than I remember. Brand new deck, beautiful and comfortable furnishings. Fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities. Gorgeous private landscaped waterfront setting. Water on canal side is shallow enough for my 3 and 5 year old great granddaughters to swim. Will be booking next year for sure!”

“Easy to walk to downtown and a large number of historic properties from this location. The cottage is well kept, clean, and convenient. Accurate description of sleeping arrangements. Only caveat- like most houses of this age, HVAC is an issue. The upstairs bedrooms have on-wall units (not in-wall, on-wall) that blow cold air, and that helps cool, and multiple fans are provided in closets. But it could still most likely get pretty warm in summer, upstairs. Max temp during our stay was……

“My friends and I really enjoyed this property. We all remarked at how well this older home had been renovated. The host Jon lived two houses away, so was on the spot when we had a bit of trouble using the locking mechanism. It's a quick walk through a college campus to get to fun breweries, good restaurants and a waterfront park. Highly recommend this affordable stay.”

“Amazing view!!! Walking distance to the boardwalk and restaurants in town. I’m a light sleeper so the people walking around upstairs early in the mornings would wake me up. Other than that, a great stay!”

“The house was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed a lot of time on the front porch and took the walk down to the water. Very friendly area. We checked out a smoothie shop that was amazing, and had dinner at Tooley’s…..it was AMAZING! Highly recommend!”
