"Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips."

The kitchen was well stocked, and hosts provided some basic foods for breakfast (coffee, eggs, bread and juice) . Stirling and Doune castles are a must. "We really enjoyed our stay at Blairbell Cottage! It's a beautiful cottage and perfect for our family of 6. The kids loved the games room with the games, table football and SNES.
