“Nice bedroom and hotel design”

“This property is absolutely lovely! Special shout out to the staff who were so attentive - from our hibiscus welcome drink to assistance with transportation - they made each day special. We watched colorful birds from our terrace while sipping CR coffee and ate deliciously prepared meals at the restaurant by the gorgeous turquoise blue pool. Our suite was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned. The walkability to town was nice, too. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I’ll be back!! ”

“The staff was lovely and very helpful. The gounds were beautiful and beautifully maintained. We didn't have towels some days and had to request them. The room didn't have much storage, though. ”

“This place was amazing.. the pictures Travelocity has doesnt do the place justice. The staff soooo friendly they go abvoe and beyond..not just one or two but all the staff. They have a turtle pond to see turtles and fish as well as frogs. Their cat oreo is so sweet and a fun addition for guests. We were able to see about 4 sloths on the property. The maintenence staff always kept an eye and then showed the guests where they were making the experience really nice. Not one problem w this……

“What’s not to like about this property and its staff? Everything was excellent and then some. Would like more options for dinning but then again I’m not a meat eater so it’s always difficult to find food whenever I travel, so that not on them, it’s on me. ”

“Lovely resort tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town. You wouldn’t even know it’s there. Need to have coffee makers in the rooms along with access to communal water and ice. For the price, it was expensive.”

“This was an amazing property with lovely, patient staff, and owners who had an answer for each of the (many, many) questions we had. The area is beautiful and safe, and the owners make it a point to make sure guests are getting what they want out of a vacation. Thank you for nudging us to bike to Punta Uva, Eric. “This property is a doorway to nature's paradise. Being set in jungle with an open living theme there is nothing to not love about Congo bongo. The cry of howler monkeys at 4am followed by the jungle waking up to the evening cry of the toucan nature is all around. The ambience is complimented by the warmth and friendliness of the people who call this place home.”

“The rooms get poor WiFi service, the WiFi is free and strong everywhere else. Breakfast is good, option for eggs made to order, fruit, breads, rice and beans. Beach club food was ok, nothing great. The pool is clean and lovely, and you came beat the ocean view from the front. Walking to and from the main road was safe at night. The paths in the hotel could be better lit at night. ”

“The room was very clean and comfortable. However, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator and also an air conditioner since it can get very warm and the ceiling fan alone does not cool the room down. The staff and owners are super friendly and very attentive. We left very early in the morning and the lady working in the kitchen (I believe her name was Gira) offered to prepare us some sandwiches, which super nice of her. One negative was that things do not dry since its super humid outside……
