“We chose this cabin for a weekend getaway to relax and enjoy the outdoors. This cabin was exactly what we needed. We loved the cute, little cabin and all the amenities. The view is breathetaking. My daughter spent hours fishing the lake and caught multiple bluegill and fish. We appreciated the board games, cards and activity books provided with the house. We made good use of them on the rainy days. The cabin was very stocked and had everything we need. Host were great and very quick to respond……

“If you’re headed to Shawnee to hike, this is a central location to several of the local area highlights. Nights were delightfully dark and noisy, joined by all kinds of wildlife in the area and no other people. It was the perfect quick getaway for a family of six.”

“We came for a weekend trip, we had a great time at Hogg Hollow winery! The camper was even better than the pictures. Steve was great at giving us some fun places to check out & had a helpful map they made for the area & attractions. We checked out Blue Springs (this was our favorite spot) burden falls, and Dixon springs. Check out the chocolate factory if you go to Dixon springs. Love this location & Steve was a great host. We can’t wait to come back with the kids!”

“The cabin was great. It was clean, comfortable, and worked great for our needs. The drop down ladder/stairs to the loft were not an issue for our group. The kitchen had just what we needed to make breakfast and dinner. We basically only slept there because we explored all day. We did bbq and have a fire at night.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the house on Hohman lake. The house was clean and well maintained. The owners are great to work with and very responsive! The hot tub developed a leak and they were there promptly to check it out and had fixed it quickly! We were there during the eclipse and they even provided eclipse glasses. The lake is a nice lake to kayak on. This was our second stay at one of their properties on the lake and look forward to coming back again!”

“Check in process was easy and Jack was a great host. The property is secluded and beautiful. There is not just one screened in porch, but 2! The sauna on the back porch was a nice feature to help warm us up after we got out of the hot tub. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of items to help us cook our meals. We didn’t get to use the grill but there is one there. The Cooperhead wine that Jack gave us was outstanding. We can’t wait to go back and visit”

“House had everything we could possibly need or want to have a wonderful weekend. The screened porch was great for relaxing, kayaks were fun, nice little dock for fishing or stargazing. We even went for a swim! Perfectly clean and in good condition, and was near enough to go to Metropolis and Paducah for entertainment. There's a dollar store in Brookport for all of the items one inevitably forgets to pack. XD”
