“The location along the river, far from the noise of town was wonderful! The dark skies perfect for star gazing! We spent so much time outside on the patio. Nathan the caretaker was very kind, friendly, and checked in on us briefly each day to be sure all was well. A terrific getaway!”

“We had a great time. Exploring the Nueces River, bird watching, star watching, and being with friends and family were unsurpassed. The Bunkhouse worked very well for cooking, eating, and playing games. We decided to have only 4 people sleeping inside, as the bunk area is a little tight. “Loma Linda is so peaceful, yet within a 30 minute drive to the reasons we wanted to stay in the area (Garner state park and the Frio bat cave). It was also the best equipped and most organized home we've ever stayed in. We would highly recommend it to anyone!”
