The only thing I would like to see is more dining options around the pool area so guests don’t have to go inside to get food

I would have given a 5 star in all aspects to this hotel, but reception staff can be a little rude and insensitive to some guests. On the day that I arrived, I noticed a guest was trying to ask a simple question and the staff member completely shut her down. I understand there were other guests in front of her but it definitely could have been handled differently.
All other staff members of this hotel that I came across with were super friendly and helpful. Thumbs up to them for making our stay memorable and relaxing.

Loved the stay at Riu Palace Peninsula , food was great and also the service , I would surely recommend it and would stay there again , actually we are going back to Cancun in 8 months and staying in Riu Palace Peninsula .
