The kids loved playing in the room and treated it like their own private club house despite the chill in the air outside. Our main reason for visiting was stargazing and while the first night was slightly hazy we still got some great stars even saw a few shooting stars. "We were disappointed almost as soon as we entered our room. Although it was clean, it was crammed full of furniture with little floor space. The bathroom sink did not drain. We were told by the owner that previous customers had poured cereal and coffee grounds down the sink. It would have been preferred that she had assigned a different room if she knew that."

"Mary has a great set up. We loved being able to bring our dogs and let them run around and explore the property. It was the perfect weekend space to relax and unwind. My own complaint is the booking is listed as a “private and peaceful stay” however while we were there about 6 side-by-sides drove up the private driveway and hung out for 30-40 minutes at the top of the hill. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if we would’ve had a heads up. We had dogs running around and a baby trying to sleep. In...
