“We chose the Hampton Inn for its proximity to the waterfront where we planned to board a cruise ship. We arrived on an early flight but by noon they had our room ready. The room was comfortable, we didn't find a safe but had no problems. My one complaint was no cups in the bathroom which I only discovered after I finished brushing my teeth. Later I discovered there were plastic cups by the ice bucket we hadn't noticed. The included breakfast was good, and they kept it well stocked during……

“This hotel is in the perfect location to walk to everything around the waterfront. I had a really late check in because of a delayed flight and the staff was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Portland!”

“Lovely hotel and facilities. Double beds are small. Would be nice to have Queen beds as we were a family of four sharing one room. Would also like a microwave in the room. They also only provided 3 towels. Apart from that, everything was great. Two double beds would be perfect for two single people sharing a room. ”

“We took the hotel shuttle from the airport and could walk everywhere in the old port area. Upgraded breakfast was quite good, with fresh and hot options daily. Just make sure to check your bill when you leave... Breakfast was included in our Expedia booking, but they charged us for it half of our stay.”

“Just spent a week here for our first trip to Maine. The location was amazing as there were dozens of shops and restaurants just outside the front door and within a two to three block radius. Many of the attractions we had planned on visiting were just blocks away and the Casco boat ferry shipyard was less than a ten minute walk. We felt safe in the area and the quality of the area was great. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We declined housekeeping service during our stay but the hallways,……
