“Loved the property. The owners have made a nice hide away. Property did not have a hot tub as listed by VRBO. That was disappointing. Location of property was great!”

“This property is amazing. This is our second stay here and we will be back again. The house is very nice and clean with thoughtful touches like a water cooler. We had a lovely card and gift waiting for us as return guests. The showstopper is the yard. It is incredibly private and beautiful. There is a covered patio with heaters and large dining table, chaiselounges and a fire pit. It has everything you need to enjoy the outdoors no matter what the weather. Our dog loved it as well. “I rented this spacious home and my kids came from Reno, Seattle area, and friends from No Ca and Wa DC and even two from Portugal. We had a great reunion despite cooler weather. W Asked to ANA and Carlsbad Village, enjoyed bike rides, cooked wonderful meals in a very well furnished kitchen and dined on the lawn when dry. It was just great. Thanks to the hosts.”

“This was perfect for the three of us; me, my son and his girlfriend! We came to see my granddaughter's choir perform at Disney but decided to make it a vacation as well. We enjoyed the comforts of the house and that it was so close to the beach and Carlsbad Village. Spent a lot of time walking in town and not enough time walking on the beach. Everyone was friendly and the host was most accommodating. We had a great stay!”

“I had thought about letting things go but more and more things came up during my stay. First of all, the owner’s parents live in the front unit so be prepared to be both reported on and expect the host Sabine to always be around. My first impression of the casita was that it was cute and being in the village, it was a convenient spot to be in. That’s where the pros ended. I wouldn’t recommend this place especially in the summertime because being a converted garage, it was really hot and stuffy……

“The house was fantastic, very cozy, comfortable, big and lots of light. The location and neighborhood was close to the beach and needed stores, and felt super safe and friendly. The beach vibe was so fun, we loved it! The only small confusion was with check in and check out. There were no instructions and we had to do trial and error with door locks and property access, etc. Would suggest a welcome manual.”
