“Absolutely loved this property. We spent most of our time outside relaxing in the yard - sometimes around the fire pit. We also loved walking the trail system that circles the lagoon that is right by the property. The house had everything we needed and was well appointed. I had trouble opening the door - my fault! and the host responded very promptly. No other issues at all. The most relaxing trip. I am already trying to see when we can come back. Thank you!!”

“Our stay was wonderful! The house was very nice, three large bedrooms, nice big kitchen, the bathroom was nice and the beds were super comfy. We had seven people for Friendsgiving and we had everything we needed to cook. The house is just down the street from a beautiful beach that has a parking lot. Owners are very nice and very responsive. Would definitely recommend!”

“Good: -Beach is a block away -Beach is gorgeous -Well stocked kitchen -Hot tub is great -Place was very clean -Master bed is very comfortable (not sure on other beds as I only slept in master). Bad: -Strong bleach smell when we arrived. Place was very clean but we had to air it out for a day. -Kitchen supplies could be better. A couple of new pans needed. -BBQ doesn’t get super hot. Had to finish steaks in the pan to get a good sear. -There is some road noise in all bedrooms. Didn’t bother……

“If we stayed again I wouldn’t bother paying the extra $100 a day for the pool to be heated. It was still very cold for an extra $500. Other than that, the house was great for our family. We would stay again, for sure.”

Stove had burner problem, 2 car garage not cleared adequately, missing light bulbs, ice dispenser didn’t work, tv controls not easily used, garage side door deadbolt can’t be locked, to name some problems. Very difficult driving out of driveway due to busy street. Slow response from management for problem solving. “The house was well appointed, clean and updated throughout. The back yard was very enjoyable with the comfy chairs and fire pit! Thank you for such a great getaway! The only thing we could think of was maybe gave a couple of extra throw blankets, but overall we give our stay a 10/10!”

“The property has high ceilings, and is very spacious. The kitchen and living room are upstairs with two of the three bedrooms and fits in perfect. The master bedroom has a direct view of the ocean and the beach is a 1 minute walk from the property. The master bathroom has a large jacuzzi tub and shower. The stairs and bedrooms are carpeted. The location is perfect if you enjoy walking to the local stores and businesses. With a little maintenance and thorough cleaning this property would be……

“We completely enjoyed our stay here in Carlsbad! This home is truly a jewel and has everything we needed for our 6 week-stay. The location was so convenient to shopping, walking trails and amazing restaurants and the beach was withiin a 10 minute drive. The backyard is a perfect place to relax, soak up the sun and socialize with family and friends. John and Sharon are wonderful hosts and pro-active without being invasive! We hope to stay here again for future visits to North County San Diego!”
