“Everything was as stated. We were there for a family event. Did enjoy access to the Omni Resort for a few walks. For the price was disappointed in no bath soap or shampoo. Target and many stores were close by. The place is nice but a little dated and very musty smelling for the first day or so. Mattress very soft but fine.”

We had everything we needed for cooking, plenty of towels, etc. The location is great, rjght across the street from the beach a and without walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in the Village. We ended our evenings on the deck in front of the fire, watching the sun go down. It was a wonderful place.”

“This property remained as magical as it was when we were there five years ago - nothing has changed and it was absolutely wonderful. Perfectly situated in a small private neighborhood just South of Carlsbad. Picture windows overlooking the ocean, as well as plenty of lounge chairs etc. on the back porch to enjoy the beautiful meditative ocean all day long from the bluff upon which the house sits. Then walking down the private steps to the beach - at low tide there are tidepools and you can walk……

“If you don’t like being 150 steps from the beach this isn’t for you. Otherwise this place is perfect. Clean, easy to get to and beautiful views. Located near everything you need. We will be back”

“My sister and I stayed here for 5 nights. Very safe neighborhood away from the train tracks but close to everything by auto. The home was very clean and well equipped, other than ice trays. With four bedrooms and 2 baths, great for a family or couples. Outside patio was great for taking in the afternoon sun. Very private. Appreciated the fact that there was sufficient seating both inside and out for the house bedroom count. There was one comfort height toilet which was great for us……

“My family loved our stay at this property. The kitchen and rooms were very spacious. It was an easy walk into Carlsbad Village. And we loved talking walks by the lagoon. It was easy to contact the host and the long term renters behind the property were very friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay.”

“If we stayed again I wouldn’t bother paying the extra $100 a day for the pool to be heated. It was still very cold for an extra $500. Other than that, the house was great for our family. We would stay again, for sure.”
