“Nice property, kitchen was well appointed and had hot beverages. No problems with water pressure (there was a mysterious note from a past visitor). The only reason for the 4 stars is that the dishes weren’t washed when we arrived, a couple of lights were burned out, and there was damp laundry left in the dryer. The double bed was a little too soft for our tastes, but the bunk beds were nice! (Also, we couldn’t figure out how to get the arcade game to work, but that wasn’t a big deal.)”

“We were here for a wedding so spent little time in the apartment. It was clean and easy; laundry key didn't work but not a big deal. Great views from the porch. A few games/books/cards would have been nice, especially as it rained quite a bit. The coffee was delicious and appreciated!”

“This rental was fantastic for our family. Two adults and two kids ages 5 and 6. The condo had everything we needed and more! The location was GREAT!! Close to everything and walking distance to many things also. There were some ants in the bathroom but none in the kitchen. Everything was clean and well maintained.”

“Nice, roomy space with a beautiful view and all the necessary amenities! There is a freeway and train track right outside the back door, but they provide white noise machines if needed. We slept fine, as the noise is fairly muted. Rooms do not have blackout curtains, so you want to bring sleeping masks if you need it dark. :)”

“Location was amazing, near hiking trails, wineries, and breweries. The scenery was incredible and it was a very peaceful and quiet area. Also, the condo was fantastic - well stocked and comfortable. Overall very restful and enjoyable.”

Don't often see that at rentals/hotels. Easy walking distance to downtown Hood River. Only thing I would have liked is curtains on the bedroom doors as the blinds didn't block all the light from the outside.”

“Everything was great.”

“Our family came fro Virginia, Europe and Portland for our first ever gathering. This two-story unit with its separate master suite, full kitchen and big living room with a fireplace was perfect. Everyone had the privacy they needed, yet we also had a big room in which to gather. We lit the fire for a cozy afternoon on a rainy day, cooperated on meal prep, and spent lots of time on the mountain when the weather was fine. My only complaint was an abnormally early check-out time that didn't give us……
