“We went into this vacation thinking we would have a very relaxing week on the beach. The house was everything we wanted and more. Our week was better than we had hoped for.”

“Lovely beach house. Great location. We only had 5 adults so it was very comfy. Views were spectacular....right on the ocean. I would not hesitate to stay again. Only suggestion: The very bottom step going to lower level is a different color brown which blends with floor. My 70 yr old father fell. NOT HURT...but I would put a WATCH YOUR STEP...OR something more identifying.”

“A well maintained older home, very clean. We liked that it was close to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. The only downside to our stay , the beds were a bit uncomfortable and the water pressure in the shower was lacking. Nothing we couldn't live with for a week. Would definitely consider this property again.”

“My boyfriend and I brought our two dogs to stay for the week before memorial day. The place was very clean. As the pictures show, it is on the small side, but the big backyard really makes up for it. We spent most of our time sitting outside at the patio table. Since it was just the two of us, we used the small room with the bed as storage for out luggage/beach equipment. There is another rental upstairs. We only overlapped with those guests for one night, but keep in mind that you could have……

“Beautiful grounds! Wonderful room and view of the sound. I live in town and my daughter came to town for a few days and thought I’d try something different. I’ve stayed everywhere from north to south end of Wrightsville beach and Blockade runner was top notch on all counts. Loved it”
