“Listing exactly as described. Christie was helpful on arrival in getting oriented in Harper's Ferry- very welcoming and knowledgeable. The house is in a great location, quiet, safe, updated perfectly, and incredibly clean. The room was beautifully appointed with thoughtful details for travelers. The covered porch attached to our room was the perfect place to enjoy my morning coffee. Would recommend to anyone traveling to the area!”

There are several restaurants within walking distance in the lovely downtown area of this quaint, historic town. We would definitely stay again when visiting the area.”

“We truly loved our stay in the schoolhouse guesthouse!! The farm property with the 18th century home, outbuildings, cattle and neighborhood for walking, afforded us time for truly enjoying our time together. The decor of Mary Ann and Dan’s guesthouse had wonderful historic elements, with warm colors and great seating and areas for relaxing. “My wife and I were staying here for our wedding day that was taking place up the road. This stay was one of our favorites that we have done. The owners are vwry patient and responsive. The guest suit is very clean and comfortable with alot of natural light. I definitely recommend this property. Also, they dogs that live on the property are great and will greet you outside.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Train Station. The location was out of the traffic of the tourist areas, but they were easily accesible. It was very peaceful in the woods and the house itself was well stocked and the beds were comfortable! If you are looking for a place that has a great place to hang out together as a family (like a comfortable living room with a big sectional sofa) this is not the place you are looking for. If you are like us and spend most of your waking hours out doing……

“Really disappointed. The house looks nice on the outside but on the inside, there was serious need of cleaning and upgrade. We rented the guest house since there were 3 of us. Very outdated and dirty. The comforter not clean. The second bed was the pull out sofa. The host later brought a pile of linens as if just out of the dryer for the bed…not folded and not made up before we arrived. The worst part was a very strong must odor. Smelled moldy. We just couldn’t get comfortable. Moldiness makes……

“Great property in a great location. The towns of Harpers Ferry and Bolivar are within easy walking distance, and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy is right up the street. An evening of live music at The Barn is a must. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Highly recommend we had a blast. House is very well outfitted and for our 3 couples we each had our own bathroom which is a glorious thing. Beautiful views, three firepits and the lake made the outdoor space just what we needed. The climb back up to the house from the lake is no joke not for the elderly but our group of fifty something’s did ok and it was worth it. I’d recommend and may even see about going back for Harper’s Ferry. Well done Songyee and Jeff we appreciate you.”

“Everything about our stay was perfect from beginning to end! The check-in process was easy and arriving in the house was so welcoming! The hosts went above and beyond with the extra touches of drinks in the fridge to the bathroom baskets and snack baskets to the fully stocked coffee bar. There were 16 of us and we had so much space and enjoyed our stay! We were disappointed that the weather didnt cooperate for us to use the outside oasis. It was absolutely beautiful!
