“We love historical hotels so chose to stay at The Read House. Our stay was wonderful. The hotel itself is like stepping back in time to old world grandeur. Absolutely magical. the dining was exceptional (we chose to eat there every night!), and the bartender, Alan, was really engaging and mixed great drinks! His Peanut Butter Alan was amazing!! Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. We look forward to returning to The Read House very soon. ”

“Always check the AC first before unloading luggage cart and preparing your room for the stay. I am not going to hammer the hotel for the AC but function check should be done at every room cleaning. Over all we had a good time.”

“Comfortable, spacious accommodations. Friendly and helpful staff. Right in downtown so close to everything, yet it was whisper quiet in the room. Parking is additional, but it's easily purchased at the hotel and conveniently nearby. We absolutely loved our stay!”

“The room was compact, but neat as a pin and well appointed. The only issue was the major street noise especially overnight. They do provide a white noise machine, but ear plugs are really the only solution. It was easy to get to town in just a few minutes.”

“We were stayed one night at this hotel,it was very noisy and vibration because the air conditioner may have problems,so we couldn't sleep during night. Nearby no store,no restaurant. Breakfast was terrible too.”

“Front desk lady was super sweet! I booked the wrong room and I was there with family for a wedding and she put me on there floor. She was so understanding and sweet! The room was so clean and I overall had a great stay! ”

“everything was fine while we were here. the only drawback is that our apartment was not ready yet and we arrived after check-in time. we had chosen a high floor and stayed on the second floor, in another apartment. But it didn't bother us that much. This is a good hotel. Is our the second time here.”
